Glasses, like watches, are a commonly worn 'solid' clothing that can be used to integrate active functions. Their relationship with the eye makes then a logical element to integrate with displays (enabling displays which appear directly in front of the eyes) and video cameras and ear phones are easily integrated for sound output.
